A Message from Mrs Coker:
Friday, 22nd May 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you all so much for your support, particularly in these uncertain times.
In order to keep you fully informed, I would like to let you know that we are still in the planning stage of our preparations for a potential re-opening. It is essential that we put safety first.
Thank you to all those parents who completed the parent survey. We had 215 responses, which was brilliant. It has also been good to speak with our Year 6 parents to gather views on pupil numbers.
I shall keep you informed with regards to when we have a date for re-opening, and we will be contacting Year 6 parents with information about expectations, routines and organisation.
Thank you for being patient.
Remember: stay safe and stay alert. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Year 6 – Coming Back to School
On Monday, 8th June, we welcomed back nineteen Year 6 pupils today. Please find below information for parents and pupils about coming back to school, including a video guide created by staff.
COMING BACK TO SCHOOL PUPIL & PARENTS – This guide goes through all the changes we have made in school, covering uniform, lunchtimes, equipment and expectations.
BEHAVIOUR POLICY ADDENDUM – This is the ‘extra bit’ of our Behaviour Policy. It details the routines and procedures whilst children are in school.
ATTENDANCE POLICY ADDENDUM – This is the ‘extra bit’ of our Attendance Policy. It explains how we will manage and promote attendance during COVID-19 and partial re-opening.
HOME SCHOOL AGREEMENT – A paper copy of this has been given to all families returning. It details what we (Robert Shaw) will do, what we expect parents to do and what we expect all children to do. This should be signed and returned to school.
STAY SAFE CLASSROOM RULES – This is a copy of the poster that is displayed all around our school. It reminds everyone to keep their distance and maintain good respiratory hygiene.
