About Our School

Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to our website.

Robert Shaw is a vibrant, multi-cultural school in the city of Nottingham and we are a community dedicated to providing the best education possible for all of our children through hard work and an ethos of mutual respect. British values and a belief in diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging is integral to all that we do. This is summed up well by the children who describe Robert Shaw as a big family where everyone looks after each other.

Our vision is to be ambitious and aspirational, enabling the the whole school community to flourish. This vision is underpinned by our three shared values of being respectful, responsible  and resilient. By providing a stimulating environment and a rich, challenging curriculum, every child has the equal opportunity to reach their personal and educational goals.

We hope you enjoy browsing our website to gain just a flavour of Robert Shaw and the many wonderful things we get up to!
