School Meals & Snacks

School Meals

Our school meals provider is changing!

From next week, Aspens will be the company providing the service for our pupils. This means that the kitchen team will not be changing the menu and the choice of food will be changing over the coming weeks and months.

The new menu will come in to effect from Tuesday 7th May 2024.

The new menu can be found on the link below:

Payment should be made on Monday for the full week.  Money will be carried forward to the following week for any meals missed through absence.

Children may bring packed lunches.  Drinks should not be in a glass container or cans.  Packed lunches need to be appropriately healthy and nutritional – if we have concerns about the contents of a child’s lunchbox.

Supervision of children on site during the lunch break is delegated to our team of  Midday Supervisors.  Children are expected to follow the day-to-day organisation of lunchtimes and carry out the instructions of the supervisors.

If your child requires a special diet linked to a diagnosed medical condition, please complete the form below and return to school.  This will help our catering team to support your child.

Milk & Snacks

Children in the Early Years and Key Stage 1 may have milk at playtime.  Milk for under 5s is free, but there is a small charge for children who are aged 5 and over.

To order milk for over 5s, please follow the link to the School Milk UK website.

At morning break, children in the Early Years and Key Stage 1 will receive a piece of free fruit or vegetable.

Pupils in Key Stage 2 but may choose to bring a snack in from home. As we are a healthy school, we suggest snacks should be fruit, vegetables or a cereal bar.

All children have access to fresh drinking water throughout the school day, and are encouraged to drink water regularly.
