Children under 5 years of age are eligible to receive free school milk.
From age 5 up to age 7 pupils who are in receipt of Free School Meals can continue to receive free school milk.
Where children are not entitled to free milk, parents can opt to purchase it at a subsidsed cost for children over 5 years of age.

Please note:
- The scheme only provides one free drink of milk per child per day, not one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
- Reception Class children in schools are not entitled to free milk once they turn 5.
