Robert Shaw Primary School aims to promote equality for all pupils, staff, parents and governors in all areas of school life, regardless of race, colour or culture.

 

Equality Objectives

Our Equality Objectives are:

To close the gap between girls and boys in writing, by the end of Key Stage 2.

To close the gap between boys and girls in mathematics, by the end of Key Stage 2.

To challenge stereotypes and negative language based on sex, gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation.

To ensure equal access and participation in the school curriculum and enrichment beyond the curriculum (tracked by disability, gender and ethnicity).

Ensure all members of the Robert Shaw community feel equal and can “see themselves” in the school curriculum and school environment.
