At Robert Shaw we take the behaviour of all our children extremely seriously.
We have just 3 rules which we expect the children to follow, we feel that these rules are self explanatory and cover all reasonable expextations of behaviour. Copies of these rules are displayed around the school, and the children are reminded of them regularly at assembly time.
Our School Rules
- Please be polite
- Please be considerate
- Please do as you are asked
When a child breaks a school rule they can receive a “detention” – this involves completing a Behaviour log which is kept as a record of the incident, they may also need to miss playtimes. All detentions are recorded as data for behaviour analysis.
In certain circumstances children may be moved to another classroom to complete their work in isolation.
Our policy for Behaviour can be viewed from the link below. Please take some time to read it.
