Year 7 Taster Day at Nottingham High School

We are delighted to invite your current Year 5 children who would be interested in joining Nottingham High School, to join us at our Year 7 Taster Day on the 30th June.
The day is designed for children who will be going into Year 7 in 2022, to give them an idea of what a typical school day with us is like. They will have the chance to sample lessons in a variety of subjects, as well as the opportunity to join in some sporting activities at our playing fields at Valley Road. Lunch and transport to Valley Road will be provided. Please note that we do not provide transport for schools to bring their pupils to the High School.
We understand, of course, that it may not be convenient to release pupils for this purpose. If you are unable to do so, we would be grateful if you could make your parents aware of our next Open Morning on Saturday 25th September 2021, when both parents and children can visit our Infant, Junior, Senior School and Sixth Form, get involved in lots of fun activities and speak to staff and pupils. We are also happy for parents to visit us by appointment at their convenience.

Nottingham High School offers bursaries at Year 7 entry to allow those to attend whose parents would not be able to afford an independent education. If you have any children at your school whose academic ability may qualify them for an education at Nottingham High School, but would also require financial assistance to attend, please do encourage them to enquire with us using the link above.
